This unit is designed to manually serialize multi packs as one item. A multi pack is a carton that contains a fixed number of smaller un-serialized cartons. In this situation the multi pack is filled with cartons and placed on a slide. The operator pushes the slide along a pharmacode reader, a serialization inktjet printer, a serialization camera system, a TE labeler and a TE present sensor. The speed of the movement is not changing the result. Only if the pharmacode is wright the serialization code is printed. Only when the serialization code is wright the tamper evident label will be applied. An audible and visible signal is given when the process above is not complete.
This GMP-compatible machine has an ergonomic design and is easy to clean and can be operated by one operator.
